File checks
Integrity and digital signatures
Official Windows installers are typically Authenticode-signed by the publisher. After you save the file, open its Properties in Explorer, review the Digital Signatures tab, and confirm the signer name matches the vendor you expect before you run setup.
This site does not publish invented checksum values. Prefer hashes from the publisher's own release materials when you need a hash comparison, and treat mismatched signatures as a stop signal.
Security notes
Antivirus false positives
PC cleaners that delete many file types can trigger heuristic alerts. A flag is not always malware; it can be a cautious rule about bulk deletion, packers, or unsigned temporary helpers. Read the detection name, confirm the installer source, and only submit samples when you trust the lab.
